How you'll make an impact
As our Amazon Brand Protection & Legal Specialist, you'll be the guardian of our brand integrity online. This is essentially a brand protection and legal-type role, where you'll use advanced tools like Meta Brand Rights, Amazon Brand Registry, Walmart Brand Protection, Google Trademark Protection, etc., to identify sellers or companies using our trademarks, images, or videos - and then report them through the right channels (Facebook, Amazon, Google, Hostings, Third Party Marketplaces, etc.).

You'll work directly with the founder to protect our intellectual property, enforce our brand rights, and ensure compliance across all digital platforms. You'll expand to protect our brand across social media, websites, and other e-commerce platforms, becoming our first line of defense against unauthorized sellers and counterfeiters.

Role Overview:

We're seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong attention to detail who can systematically identify and address brand violations. This role requires someone who understands intellectual property protection, has experience with brand enforcement tools, and can effectively communicate with legal teams when needed. Filipino accountants and lawyers often excel in this role due to their meticulous nature and strong documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Protection & Enforcement

• Monitor Amazon marketplace for unauthorized sellers using our trademarks, images, or product listings

• Utilize Meta Brand Rights Manager, Amazon Brand Registry, and Google's copyright tools for enforcement

• Document and report violations through appropriate platform channels

• Track enforcement actions and maintain detailed records of all cases

Intellectual Property Management

• Conduct reverse image searches using Google Images and TinEye to identify unauthorized use

• File takedown notices for counterfeit products and trademark violations

• Coordinate with legal counsel when escalation is required

• Maintain comprehensive database of brand assets and registered trademarks

Platform Monitoring & Compliance

• Monitor multiple e-commerce platforms (Amazon, WalMart, eBay, Alibaba, social media marketplaces)

• Identify patterns in violation types and develop proactive prevention strategies

• Create weekly and monthly reports on brand protection activities and outcomes

• Stay updated on platform policies and brand protection best practices

Documentation & Reporting

• Build comprehensive case files with screenshots, URLs, and violation details

• Prepare evidence packages for legal proceedings when necessary

• Track success rates and ROI of brand protection efforts

• Assist with legal communication drafts and cease-and-desist letters

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Law, Business, or related field)

• 2+ years experience in brand protection, intellectual property, compliance, or legal support

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Amazon Brand Registry, Experience with Meta Brand Rights Manager, and similar brand protection platforms

Schedule & Location Setup

Location: Fully Remote

Schedule: 9am to 6pm EST = 9pm-6am Manila (Night Shift)

Work Days: Monday to Friday
