As an Amazon Catalog Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing product listings on Amazon. Your role will be critical in ensuring listing accuracy, resolving catalog issues, and improving product discoverability. By maintaining a well-structured and compliant catalog, you will enhance the brand's visibility and sales performance on the platform.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Amazon Catalog Specialist to oversee product listings, troubleshoot catalog-related issues, and implement best practices for Amazon marketplace success. This role requires strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, variation listings, keyword optimization, and catalog troubleshooting to maintain a high-performing, policy-compliant product catalog.
Key Responsibilities:
- Catalog & Listing Management: Manage and optimize product listings, including titles, descriptions, bullets, backend keywords, and images. Set up and maintain parent-child variations and ensure accurate categorization for maximum discoverability. Conduct regular catalog audits to ensure listing consistency, accuracy, and compliance with Amazons best practices.
Promotions & Campaign Execution: Coordinate Prime Day readiness, set up coupons and promotional deals, and ensure catalog compliance with Amazon policies during high-traffic events.
Listing Issue Resolution & Compliance: Troubleshoot and resolve listing health issues such as suppressions, ASIN errors, and category misclassifications. Monitor and address Amazon policy violations, account health alerts, and ensure compliance with marketplace standards.
Keyword Optimization & Performance Tracking: Conduct keyword research and indexing to enhance search visibility. Use tools like Helium 10, Data Dive, and Brand Analytics to track performance and optimize listings for higher conversions.
Customer Feedback & Competitive Monitoring: Monitor customer reviews, returns, and Voice of the Customer insights to improve product quality and reduce return rates. Manage responses to reviews and feedback to maintain brand reputation. Keep an eye on competitors for pricing trends, policy violations, and listing strategies.
Required Experience:
2+ years managing Amazon listings, including flat files, bulk uploads, and case resolution in Seller Central.
Proven ability to fix suppressed listings, ASIN merges, category errors, and address logistics-related triggers (e.g., fulfillment flags, lead times).
Hands-on experience with Prime Day planning, coupon setup, and deal creation.
Skilled in keyword research, indexing, and optimizing listings for search visibility.
Proficient with Helium 10, Data Dive, and Brand Analytics for performance tracking and competitor monitoring.
Strong English communication skillsboth written and verbal for case management and team collaboration.
Able to track and respond to customer reviews and returns to improve product and listing quality.
Familiar with Amazon policy enforcement and monitoring competitor listings for violations.
Nice-to-Have:
Multi-channel catalog experience (or willingness to learn) platforms may include Walmart, Wayfair, Target, Costco
Familiarity with Amazon tools like Manage Your Experiments, A/B testing, and content experiments
